Hackers Breach World's Largest Cryptocurrency Exchange "Binance"
Hackers have attacked the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange "Binance", and losses could reach 6.3 billion dollars.
Analysts believe that this incident could become the largest cryptocurrency theft in history.
"Binance" representatives emphasized that efforts are being made to freeze the stolen funds. So far, the company has managed to determine the location of approximately three billion dollars.
"Binance" co-founder Ji He announced that this security incident might be related to the hacking of a software development and support engineer's laptop. This breach allowed the malicious user to gain access to the service container and initiate unauthorized transactions for fund withdrawal.
She added that "Binance" will compensate all client losses. However, as a precaution, all withdrawals and deposits will be suspended during the inspection period.
